Threaded is a Chrome extension that lets you save items you find while browsing into a personal or family wishlist, and share that wishlist with others via a link. This page explains what data the extension collects and how it's used.
Threaded is an independent, unaffiliated project. It isn't endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any retailer, brand, or shopping site — it simply reads the page you're already looking at when you choose to save something.
Threaded only collects information you explicitly choose to save. When you click the extension on a product page and press "Save to list," the following is stored:
Threaded does not collect your browsing history, does not run in the background, and does not read or extract anything from a page unless you actively click the extension and press Save.
Threaded has no accounts, no login, and never asks for or stores passwords, payment details, or any government ID.
Saved items are stored in a hosted database (Supabase) so they can be viewed later from the shareable link. The shared wishlist page itself is hosted on GitHub Pages and loads fonts from Google Fonts, both of which may log standard web request data (like IP address) as part of normal internet infrastructure — Threaded does not control or access these logs.
Anyone with your list or family link can view the items saved there. Links use long, random, unguessable identifiers — treat your link the way you'd treat a shared document link, and only send it to people you intend to share it with.
You can delete any saved item at any time from the extension popup. Deleted items are permanently removed from the database.
Threaded does not sell your data, does not show ads, and does not use analytics or advertising trackers of any kind.
